Most instructions were very easy to work with, however it was not clear that I was supposed to enter previous residence before current residence, and it caused errors in data entry. Very helpful and patient technical support staff on the phone helped me to resolve the issue. However there are too many steps making it difficult to just get to the support phone number. And it would be helpful to explain more thoroughly each option on every screen and its effects on accurate data entry.
What's great about it: Easy step by step instructions, and very helpful technical support on the phone.
What's not so great: Not clear on the order of entry of two states, and it caused errors in data entry.

Trustworthy & Simple

I have been a user of TurboTax for the past 15 years and I have absolutely no desire to try anything else. In that time, I was audited one time which was due to my error and nothing that TurboTax would have caught or been able to prevent. However, even still since I prepared my taxes using TurboTax, my information was in such order making the error easy to find and what was to be corrected.
This year I was a bit worried when they had the software programming issues and the State of Minnesota was highly suggesting not to use TurboTax and came down on them quite hard. However, communication was top-notch and you were very well informed of the progress and you knew that they would have it corrected in minimual time.

What's great about it: The Step-by-Step process is such an untimidating method letting you focus on just doing your taxes.
What's not so great: On a few occassions, it is difficult to walk-back finding where amounts came from on forms.

Very easy to use, make a list of tax papers you wiil need, Start and before you know it your done. You can stop any were, and come back were you left off and continue.
I like it, I have been using it for ten years, And I am Happy with Turbo Tax.
I do recomend it.
What's great about it: Very easy to use.
What's not so great: None from me.

Easy Filing Keeps Me Smiling

Great program, having used TurboTax to do my taxes since 2003. Many improvements over the years, fine tuning the queries towards an accurate, complete preparation and filing of federal/state taxes. the review process ensures the calculation and filing process is error free and confidence it will be accepted by IRS and state tax board
What's great about it: easy to follow directions, straight forward data entry, relevant questions geared to my specific taxable situations
What's not so great: revising data directly on individual forms caused information of on first line of source worksheets to be overwriten

Love Turbo Tax!!

I love that turbo tax reviews my refund for errors and helps me correct any. Also that turbo tax lets you e-file your returns.
What's great about it: Turbo tax helps you through every step.
What's not so great: Just wished that I could e-file my state refund for free also!
