2011 Taxes Fouled up, 2012 Seem to have gone great

My 2011 Return included my wife's Pension which, somehow, was modified froma little over 32,233.00 to 84.00... 84 Dollars, and I did not catch it despite the fact that I go through my return twice, verifying every entry. Sure taught me to review PRINTED return because that is where I got screwed up. Hoping that Turbo Tax, upon their review of the file will see how their program somehow decided to modify the amount... I got socked by the IRS. over a $32K difference in reported income... yikes.
Ultimately I should have caught it, it is my signature on the form, right? But there were some things impacting our lives at that moment and... I missed it. But I cannot account for the difference in a recorded Pension amount.
What's great about it: Menus have been improved and decisions simplified, more logical
What's not so great: Somehow an entire Pension was screwed up for 2011, am submitting this to Turbo Tax to see if they will repay IRS Penalty

What's great about it: Easy to use, step by step instructions
What's not so great: some sections could use better descriptions
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

What's great about it: Simple but good support and detailed information easily accessed
What's not so great: Child dependent form not necesssary on review. Already had entered relavent information.

Great Refunding Experience

We have really enjoyed using Turbo Tax over the last few years. I particularly like the donations section that helps you figure out the donation amounts for clothing donations. I just wish it wasn't so much to file the state returns.... only major downside!
What's great about it: Fast, Easy, Quick and, Most Importantly, Thorough!
What's not so great: Paying for the State Taxes Efile

First Time Turbo Tax Filer

Needs to provide examples of specific ways to save money by job type. Have a list of jobs (Teacher, Construction, Police Officer, Waitress, etc.) and have some examples of deductions typical to those jobs. I'm a teacher and it was a bit confusing on what CAN be deducted and what CANNOT based on purchases or expenses related to being a teacher.
What's great about it: Good visual interface, pretty simple to follow for basic taxes
What's not so great: Needs more deduction information for specific jobs.
