everything looked good and was nice and easy. The one drawback was that once i started my return I couldn't import my old one. I was given that option at the very beginning, but once you get started it disappears. Should be made available.

Best software available

I have been using tax prep software for over 15 years. Turbo Tax arrived and I've never had a reason to look at other companies.
It's very accurate and allows me to import financial institution, W-2 and especially stock transactions detail, including what is not included in brokerage 1099_B, such as option trading. By using a spreadsheet format, I can import all my transactions that at one time I had to enter manually. Thanks Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Straight forward; easy to understand. Fast!

Great tax software program!

I've been using Turbotax Deluxe for several years now, and I love it. I feel confident that I have a complete and accurate form when I submit it to the IRS. one complaint is that when you start to answerr questions in the deductions section you have to complete that page.Once you answer a question, you can't take it away and not fill out that page. That's happened every year. I would think that I could take that deduction and figure out that I wasn't able to take it. I try to delete information from the page and can't unclick a yes or no box. That is aggrivating! All in all though, I wouldn't use any other tax software!
What's great about it: consistant and easy to use from year to year
What's not so great: Horrible wait time to get into the program!

Good program, easy to use

This is the fourth year we have used TurboTax and it is still a very easy way to do our taxes. It guides you through all your potential sources of income and all possible deductions so that you don't miss anything. Its easy to file online when you are finished. The only thing I wish was different would be a free e-file option for state taxes.

What's not so great: Helps if you know some about the tax forms.
