STRESS EASY QUICK & FREE

I have filled my taxes for the past 8 years or so with TURBOTAX and this 2012 program is the best yet very detailed. easy transitions from one category to the next. from deductions to credits .. I tell you some of the past have had a few difficult tax transitions but this 2012 was off the chain easy and kind of fun! from start to finish I whipped thru it in about 3 hrs. while watching the NCAA finale 16 championships.

What's great about it: PROGRAM HAS BECOME MORE USER FRIENDLY
What's not so great: none

Simple to use and understand

The only con I have when using Turbo Tax is the constant having to hit "continue". I understand some people have to go slowly and want to take it gingerly one step at a time. But some of us "kind of" know what we are doing and want to bust through it. This is not such a problem that I won't use Turbo Tax again, though. I like how detailed the questions are and how easily I am walked through each section. I've used Turbo Tax for 10 years now and I plan on continuing to use it. Even with including things like refinancing my mortgate and paying off a second mortgage, Turbo Tax still makes including these situations simple.
What's great about it: I don't have to be a tax wizard. Turbo tax is the wizard for me.
What's not so great: Too many clicks sometimes, to get to the next section

I really enjoyed using the TurboTax services. It makes filing taxes so much easier. The services are very user-friendly and double checks your entries for possible errors.

The only thing was it seemed too easy. I had to call my CPA friend to ask if it was supposed to be this easy...she said yeah aren't they great?!?!? I will use again

Good, but not as awesome as previous years

This year was not as user friendly as in prior years. Importing basic information from a previous year definitely speeds things up, unless, like me, you were previously self-employed with alot of business expenses. After playing around with it for 20 minutes I finally figured out how to get rid of the Schedule C entries. I thought it would go away when I did not include 1099 income or file as self-employed.
What's great about it: federal is pretty user friendly, fast, not expensive to buy
What's not so great: State return difficult
