The forms were straightforward and easy to read. I am sure next year will be more expedient because our personal information will already be on file.

Great program

I believe I have used Turbo tax for seven years, every year it gets easier and I always get good results. I had used the other major program several times and found it much more cumbersome. I will continue to use Turbo tax in the future.
What's great about it: The easy navigation is so good

A Painful Experience Made Easier

I've been doing our taxes for about 10 years using TurboTax. It is straight forward in it's approach and as advertised, it leads you through completing the return without having to do the math or do a lot of looking up of tax regulations. My average time to complete both Federal and CA state returns is about 2 hours. Not bad, but could be even quicker if an organizing work sheet could be printed out before starting so you could get those items together.
What's great about it: You don't need to know tax law.
What's not so great: Lack of an organizing check sheet to making getting ready easier.

Max refund like promised!

I have used TurboTax for several years. It is cheaper than using a tax consultant and I have gotten more refunds because it guides you through everything (to the point of feeling too thorough).
What's great about it: Easy to use,
What's not so great: The guide can be a little too thorough.
