Satisfied Again!!

Turbo Tax always rocks for me. Used it for the last 10 years with nary a problem. The best part about it is how quick I can get it done and feel confident that I'm getting the most back I can. It's constantly updated and improved. A customer can't ask for more than that!
What's great about it: Very quick to go through. The feature that saves last year's info is sooooo time saving and convenient!
What's not so great: Some of the info can bog down a person with tax jargon, but there is help for that.

Good but....

Charitable contributions section is a pain. It is every year. Why can't TurboTax put my past charitable contributions in alphabetical order? I'm constantly moving up and done the list to find the charity.
What's great about it: Interface was good. I liked the way it walked me through everything step by step.

I was pleased to find unexpected tax credits and deductions that I would not have known about without Turbo Tax's help. It increased our refund significantly. Who doesn't like that?!
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

None of the 5 banks that paid me interest were in the list of partners.
Having to Include addresses of well-known charities, like CARE, USHS, is a waste of time
What's not so great: Asks for more information than required to fill out 1040 by hand

Turbo Tax worked great, medical insurance not so.
Medical insurance failed to act on W4 submitted.
Turbo did everything they could to correct.

Turbo Tax 2012

I like the interface Turbo Tax provides with tax preparation. This year I can understand was a difficult year with more than the usual last minute Federal changes. However 2012 Turbo Taqx has a few quirks, like it does not open after it updates. You have to reopen the program and let it run update again. I did have to go "back" then continue again to move to the next step a couple of times.
What's great about it: As usual Turbo Tax easily guides you through tax preparation

Easier every year!

Once again, good old TT makes this awful chore easy on the brain. It may take me a few hours, but worth it and less expensive than using a professional tax preparer. I love being able to purchase and download for PC.
What's great about it: Can compare to previous year, great online support.
What's not so great: None

Great for Deceased Taxpayer

I had e-filed our tax return but a relative died and we needed to file that person's return. Once we had the 1099's for the estate, it took less than an hour to use TTax to finish the work
