What's great about it: Year to year carryover of info, simple easy steps

What's great about it: Step by step guide through deductions and credits
What's not so great: the only thing is that it seems to take time to openup the program

I HAVE BEEN USING TURBO TAX FOR SEVERAL YEARS AND HAVE ALWAYS BEEN SATISFIED THAT IT HAS GIVEN THE BEST RETURN AVAILABLE TO ME. THE STEPS TO FOLLOW ARE EASY TO FOLLOW. I LIKE THE WAY TURBO TAX BUILDS ON THE INFORMATION FROM PREVIOUS YEARS RETURNS.

Tired Of Entering Securities Sales Info

This was mostly straight forward but I had to enter 64 mutual fund sales transactions that were substantially the same, entering all the information for each sale. Very time consuming. It would be better in a spread sheet kind of entry where one could cut and paste.
What's great about it: Mostly easy to enter information.
What's not so great: No easy way of entering many substantially similar entries.

I have used Turbo Tax for several years. Over that time I have experienced many changes to my life, and Turbo Tax always finds me the right exemptions and deductions to get me the largest return possible.

I continue to use Turbo Tax because it is very simple to use, incorporates all tax changes year to year, and I feel my tax submission is secure when transmitted.
What's great about it: Always simple to use.

We have used Turbo Tax for about 15 years now and truly appreciate the ease at which you are able to prepare your own taxes. Our taxes are, as a rule, fairly basic but when we have special circumstances for a given year, Turbo Tax walks you through everything very thoroughly. If you still have a question, you can chat with an expert. All around great product!
What's great about it: Ease of transferring information from previous year, entering new information, and ease of status checks.
What's not so great: Unable to transmit taxpayer's written statements to IRS with returns when unusual circumstances occur.
