turbo tax is very easy to use, I use it for a very long time and my taxes were alwaya correct.
What's great about it: quick and dependent
What's not so great: not enough e- files

Tax Free DIV needs clearer Instruction

ITs been seven years since i last used Turbotax, I followed the easy method. Everthing went smoothly until I got to the Income Summury. Tax free div was in error.
Trying to verify that Turbotax was calculating the tax free Div was frustrating. After reading some of the inputs by other users and manually verifyidivng my taxable income, I found Turbotax did deduct the taxfree div.
The income summury report should be corrected.
All's well that ends well, so, I'll use the program next year.

What's great about it: Program flows smoothly, calculations seem to be accurate.
What's not so great: The Div summury does not accuretly reflect tax free div.

I have used Turbo Tax for 10+ years and each year it is better. Great program, easy to use. One change I would like to see is a refund applied from the previous year to the current year be entered prior to entering and automatically calculated when you enter the estimated taxes you paid for the current tax year. Would save revisiting the estimated page. Thanks

I have used Turbo Tax for a long time. It is the easiest way to do taxes. I have never had any problems with using this program.
What's great about it: Very helpful when you have a question
What's not so great: None
Pros: I bought or sold investments

There were a couple of places where I sat wondering what I should do next: e.g., Like when it was time to efile I clicked efile Federal BUt No to efile the State. (Turbo had already told me I could not because 1st year for State.)Then at the completion of efiling Fed it never came back to address the State. As was indicated earlier Turbo would tell me to PRINT OUT State so that I could 'mail it in'. Well I don't see that #yet#. But I hope to review until I figure it out.

Best tax preparation decision I ever made.

After using TurboTax for more than 10 years, I wouldn't even consider using another competitor's product.
What's great about it: Easy to use.
What's not so great: Efforts to sell me more services/products.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
