Great

I have used Turbo Tax (TT) since I was 18; that's been 5 years. I have never had a problem with it and I always recommend TT to all my friends. I even file most of my friends taxes for them with TT. Overall, a great product and I will continue to use it as long as I can.
What's great about it: Very easy to use and explains everything very thouroughly.
What's not so great: Wants to put in a credit card for state filing even though I get a free be.
Pros: I moved, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

TurboTax is OK

TurboTax is very good for an experienced TurboTax user, they still haven't made it "fool proof".
What's great about it: the interview process
What's not so great: still after years, you still need to know a lot or have a lot of tax preparation experience to use TurboTax

The HSA section would not let me enter contributions so ended up putting it in health expense
What's great about it: in general easy to follow and complete through the questionaire.
What's not so great: As a sole proprietor s corp, there are times when it is difficult to know where to put info pre or post tax dollars.

Wonderful product

I have been using Turbo Tax for seven years. At first my CPA Dad had to check the forms to be sure it was done correctly. After that check, he allowed me to do his taxes with Turbo Tax too. I have always felt secure using this product and recommend it to everyone.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: learn about sliding all the way to the bottom of lists to get to the Continue button

Without the Pain of Persistent Pondering

I've been using Turbo Tax for years. The questioning process makes it clear for the average user. Some more difficult questions are answered if you use the explanation notations. The whole approach always seems to be completed quickly, without the pain of persistent pondering- and I am confident of the accuracy.
What's great about it: Not paying federal filing fees
What's not so great: Paying state filing fees

almost missed filing

I have used TurboTax for years now. I almost failed to file my return having mistakenly thought that I was finished once I printed my return.I also prepared my son's taxes and I noticed that there was no alert when I put an incorrect amount in the state tax.there was a $5000 difference which to me should have at least triggered an alert. when my son received confirmation of his taxes being accepted I realized that I had never received a confirmation. I would think there would be a way to alert through email that I had not completed my filing.
What's great about it: easy to follow steps
What's not so great: can miss something

This is the eighth year in a row that I have used TurboTax. They have improved their service every year and I have yet to have any significant problems with their software. Thanks.
