Overall Very simple

Overall TurboTax really makes tax preparation dummy proof in my opinion. They take your through step by step process of everything you could possibly think of for deductions etc. The only thing I don't like is that once you have entered something, if you need to go back and change it, it can be difficult to figure out how to do that. Otherwise, I really don't mind doing my taxes at all!
What's great about it: Walked through step by step
What's not so great: Difficult to go back and make a change
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Very satisfied with the ease and clarity of explanations as I go through filing my return. The program did provide me with advise on several things I would have missed had I not used Turbo Tax. I do feel that it helped in getting the heighest refund and paying the least taxes possible. I would recomend it to anyone to use.
What's great about it: Takes you through the tax process step by step. Asking any questions that may apply to your return based on the informat
What's not so great: None here, I have benn uding turbo Tax for years.

Turbo Tax is the easiest, quickest, most confident way to file your own taxes. Try it, you will not be dissapointed.
What's great about it: Very easy to follow
What's not so great: had trouble importing taxes from thumb drive

Pretty Easy to Use, not Expensive

Pretty easy to use. Deductions were clearly explained in click-able blue link text and has pictures of where to find the identification number on various forms (1099, 1098, etc). Even stuff I anticipated as being a collosal headache like deductions for stuff given to the Good Will was done in just forty five minutes with a click menu through their easy deductions thing. Cost of program is less then the professional I used in 2011. Will probably use again and suggest to other people who own homes, have medical expenses, or have extensive charity contributions.
What's great about it: Explains all the more difficult things, inexpensive compared to professional, has audit protection stuff
What's not so great: Next buttons were a bit laggy, but not intolerable. Have to pay more for multiple states (might be issue for some)

Fast and "Simple"

Tax time use to waste an entire day... now I can complete form including itemized deductions within 2 hours! Liked the feature of automatically comparing this years return with last years return.
What's great about it: Easy to follow questions and refund tracking
What's not so great: Having to pay extra for state filing

Instructions very poorly written for amending a prior year's return.. Kept getting stuck in an endless loop trying to correct a prior return with a missed education deduction.
What's not so great: Difficulty in filing amended prior year return.

Perfection

The 1012 Turbo Tax is a good improvement over 2011. I have been a Turbo Tax user for over 10 years. Each new update is better with more helpful hints and explanations.
The whole program is well organized and flows well from one topic to another Thankfully it also reminds you to save your work occasionally. The program allows you to save and exit and then return to where you left off. It doesn't require you to remember the stop point.
The Easy Guide is my preference on how to work through the program. It is nice that you can go to individual sheets and then return to the Easy Guide.
All in All an easy program to use and feel positive that you are getting the best advice and results.
What's great about it: ease of setup, self explanatory, great help menus
What's not so great: Would like a bigger refund
Pros: I bought or sold investments
