Entering the information and data is simple and quick, and the calculated results are shown instantly. This makes the job of completing and filing individual federal and state income tax returns easy and trouble-free for practically everyone. Having used TurboTax to complete my income tax returns for more than 20 years, I have never encountered a problem or defect, I have always filed with confidence, and I have save myself hundreds of hours.
What's great about it: All calculations automatically completed and forms filled accurately.
What's not so great: Sometimes explanations are not complete, but infrequently so.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I've used TurboTax for years, and it's always made filing my taxes so much easier, and less stressful. I love the step by stop instructions that take you through all the necessary forms. I also like that it saves my tax forms as PDFs for viewing or printing later. Last year I had to file an amended return, and that was also quick and easy.
It will also pull all you info in from the previous tax season, making the up front data entry a no-brainer.
It's an excellent product.
What's great about it: Easy, quick, accurate
What's not so great: nothing to dislike

I normally purchase the online version but bought the disk this year. I wanted to play around with looking at what state income taxes might be in another state.
What's great about it: Guides you through the process easily
What's not so great: Takes getting used to moving around from one form to another after you've left the application

Love Turbo Tax. Have been a faithful user for many years. Couldn't make it through my taxes without it. :)

I enjoy Turbo Tax every year because it's so easy to just import from Quickbooks!!!
What's great about it: Short and to the point!
What's not so great: A little hard to understand in some places, but then again, that's the tax code!!!

We had our taxes done within a couple of hours of purchase. It was especially nice to have the ready explanations at hand. The only real criticism I can offer is that sometimes the program should have already provided some information from the prior year rather than having to wait.
What's great about it: Quick, Fast and Accurate
What's not so great: Sometimes would be nice to have fill-in from last year
