TurboTax would not split tax-exempt interest between spouses, even tough the circle for the items belonging to both sposes was highlighted.

I liked the importing of previous years standard information making it easier to move through the process of filing.

have used turbo tax for years and it is easy to use. I am glad it knows all the new tax laws and information so I don't have to.
What's great about it: like that last years info was pre-populated and showed a comparison
What's not so great: had trouble finding the instructions for a form i needed to fill out and didn't know how. finally went to the irs site

Would have given 5 stars, but sometimes not quite sure what the tax lingo is asking for or what really qualifies for a deduction or credit. Each year, there's always improvements, so that it's not as confusing. I'm really happy with the results that I get and am satisfied that whatever refund I receive is the maximum amount.
What's great about it: Always consistent, always improving
What's not so great: Perhaps a few more examples for better clarification

I have used Turbo Tax for many years (10 or so) and it is better each year. Instructions and examples are excellent. The product is very specific in all the areas needed to complete all the required federal and state forms.
