Easy as usual

Been a user of Turbo Tax for years. Makes the whole process so much easier than when I did it myself.
What's great about it: Steps through all credits and deductions. Can pickup where you left off if you have to stop.

Have used TurboTax for years...

The small investment club we belong to gave us a form K-1 with box 16, lines D and L entered. Turbo Tax would NOT let me e-file until I cleared these boxes! It got into a loop of "Continue to e-file" => "Woops, there's an error" => "Must have another line entered in box 16" => "Sorry, wrong entry" OR "Must have another line entered...", etc., etc.,, etc.,..... I did not have any other lines of info and the K-1 was prepared by a CPA hired by the Investment group who advised us that it was done correctly!!! I finally just deleted the box 16 info #amounted to only $12 on line "D" and $2 on line "L"# and Turbo Tax FINALLY e-filed for me!
What's not so great: Can't print individual screens (such as the one showing PINs assigned for e-filing!)

Fast prep

Only one time I had to go back to provider of 1099-div to get info you asked for and was not provided on their form. I have been using Turbo Tax for many, many years and have been always happy with outcome.
What's great about it: Gave very good instructions
What's not so great: Only a couple of places I didn't get enough information

I've used TT for 14 years or so. Although we don't have complicated returns, the ease with which I create those returns is certainly worth the purchase price. It keeps up with all the info that rolls over from last year: personal info, charitable recipients, dividends/interest payers, etc. Just the time saved there is worth a lot. I can't imagine doing taxes ever again without Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: ease of use, carry forward of last year's info

What's great about it: Extremely Thorough
What's not so great: Nothing really
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
