Easy and thorough

It steps you through everything and hits on things I wouldn't have thought of.
What's great about it: Very easy. Thorough. Great User Interface
What's not so great: nothing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have used TURBOTAX before, so basically knew what to expect. This year's return seemed to go smoother than usual. I will always recommend TURBOTAX to my friends and relatives.
What's great about it: Detailed information to answer any questions I had.

I like how easy it is to jump to the actual form, back to asking questions. The information boxes are very helpful in clarifying what they are asking for. I trust Turbo Tax

Great Experience

Simple, straightforward question / answer format is easy to complete with confidence it will be correct. I've used TurboTax for many years even before it became TurboTax. I've never once been audited or had to file a correction. Only once did I hire a tax accountant to do my taxes and I had to re-do his return myself with TurboTax because he forgot to deduct my real estate taxes and then wanted to charge me to recalculate the forms again.
What's great about it: Asks all the right questions. Easy and straightforward

Saved me the cost of an accountant

I've used TurboTax for years, and find it very easy to use and a very cost-effective alternative to paying a tax accountant. Our finances are not complicated but we have enough to reckon with--a home and mortgage, child care, high sales taxes, retirement savings--that using software that's NOT well-designed could be maddening and invite unnecessary audits. TurboTax has made it as painless as possible.
What's great about it: Easy to work through all forms, steps and deductions
What's not so great: Had to find a couple deductions myself

Easy after 28 years

I've used a professional to prepare my tax returns for the last 28 years. Since he retired, I elected to try TurboTax. I found that it was very easy to install and enter my tax data. The software led me through the process of answering critical questions and double checking some of my work. I read many of the helpful hints to determine some of my decisions. I was also able to plug in some numbers to see the impact of depositing $5K into my IRA account. Overall I feel that this was a very good experience! I have and will recommend this software to my friends.
What's great about it: Quickly and easily E-file my returns
What's not so great: Paying for the CA Return
