Nice refund but apparent glitch in one form.

It was smooth and great except the the RITA tax form 37 came out with the wrong amount paid - it said I only paid one quarter's amount when i had actually paid all four quarters. The federal tax form showed clearly that I paid all four quarters. The whole 4 quarters amount should have been put into the form 37. It is possible that you need to do something to add to the program to either have that information correctly transfer to the form.
What's great about it: Clear and to the point.
What's not so great: Some ot the instructions could be clearer.

Good Program. You might as well do it yourself. You get asked all the questions and it puts your information where it works for you and continues to guide you to the end. Taxes are done for another year. Yeah!
What's great about it: Asked questions and directed me to where I needed to go.
What's not so great: Hard to understand AMT and Adjusted Basis of home I sold this year.

Turbo tax makes it easy to use if your a first-timer, or if you've used turbo tax before. Turbo tax is also way cheaper than going to a tax professinal to have it done for you. Turbo tax askes all of the same questions as those professionals do.
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: wish that i could buy 1 disk and have it update year to year instead of buying one every year.

Overall I like TurboTax Deluxe.
I am a Scout leader and have a lot of trips to different places.
There is a no such thing as a standard trip, yet TurboTax assumes you take X trips that are each Y miles long. To get around this limitation, I had to take the total miles and divide by the number of trips to come up with an average trip distance to put into Turbotax. Why couldn't I have just put 122 trips for a total of 4,434 miles?

I have used TurboTax for over ten years and my returns are always accurate. I have never had any problems downloading and using TurboTax.
I like the very user friendly step-by-step process that is built in to the program. It always has the tax forms needed for my itemized deductions.
I have recommended this product to many people over the years.
What's great about it: User friendly and accurate.
What's not so great: No negatives from my perspective.

Have used Turbo Tax for years now, my friends all pay several hundred dollars for a tax preparation service, and I always get a better refund!

Great job turbotax

I think TurboTax is a no brainer when it comes to tax time. Why spend hundreds paying someone when you can do it yourself, and with their maximum refund guarantee you cant loose. You will still get the most money back, yet be able to do it in the comfort of your own home and in a short time. I will definately use TurboTax in the years to come.
What's great about it: Very quick and easy to use. Helped me get my taxes done without any problems.
What's not so great: None
