I have used Turbo Tax for 7 years now and have not been disappointed. It is easy to transfer my info from the previous year's return which saves a lot of time. The step-by-step walk through to complete the federal return is easy to understand and covers everything I need.
My only complaint is that the state return is not as thorough. My Georgia return includes broad categories like "Georgia additions" and "Georgia subtractions" which include anything that would ADD to the state refund or SUBTRACT from the state refund. You have to click on "help" to get a list of what those things are, and even the help isn't very detailed. Also, there is a charge to e-file the state return and even though you can skip this and mail the state return, they don't make it easy to do that.
Overall, Turbo Tax is a great product and it gets my federal taxes done quickly and accurately and that's why I continue to use it.
What's great about it: cost, ease of use for federal return,e-file free for federal return
What's not so great: have to pay to e-file state return, state return not as user friendly

What's great about it: easy to edit and go back and re check
What's not so great: too bad the state e-filing isn't part of Delux, especially since it is free in Virginia

Turbo Tax Deluxe Federal and State

I have been using TurboTax for over 10 years and am extremely happy with the product. I have an itemiezed return with come stock/mutual fund transactions and the deluxe has always met my needs. I would highly recommend to anyone needing to due a return without a home business.
What's great about it: Excellent software that is easy to use and complete.
What's not so great: Fee charged for State e-File

It was good enough tp download a 1098 from my bank that I did not have a hard copy of but then seemed to not know what section of the interview to put it in. I printed it, deleted it and then rekeyed it.
What's great about it: Straight forward, downloaded missing 1098 from bank
What's not so great: Didnt seem to put downlpaded 1098 into proper place in workflow
