This is probably my 20th year of using Turbo Tax to complete not only my taxes, but my parents, daughter and a family friend. Again relatively pain free completion of returns making this a wonderful value for my family.
What's great about it: I like the way it makes me think about all possible deductions
What's not so great: Things are so connected that sometimes one mistaken check mark means several errors

I love using tubro tax, I am not very good with these things, we have used others but for the last 4-5 years we have only used turbo tax and will always continue to use turbo tax

I used to dread having to do my tax returns manually in the past. Turbotax has saved me countless hours of time and has helped ensure that my return has no errors in it.
I like the way Turbotax takes you step by step through the process of filling out the tax return.
I also like the feature that starts you out by retrieving the previous years return and uses it it as a starting point for the current year's return. For someone like me whose return doesn't change that much from year to year, this is a great feature.
I have used Turbotax for the past few years and recommend it to all of my friends

Excellent Tax filing software

I have been using TurboTax for several years now and have been delighted with the product. First off, cost- prior to switching to the software I as well as my then girlfriend were utilizing other "walk in" tax service professionals. The results were the same and the cost of having someone prepare our taxes was triple that of the software.
The system is fairly intuitive and asks simple questions for the most part, there are a few sections where the questions could be written slightly better however in each of those sections there are links to instant topic help which expand on the subject matter.
Overall, I recommend it to all of my friends and family members (who have utilized it since and also agree the software is extremely easy to use and very cost effective).

My taxes are really easy and some would say i should just fill out the forms myself but this product is just so easy to use. I never worry about mistakes. I'm fairly sure grade school students could successfully navigate the program which is a statement I view as a high compliment. The program has taken a very difficult task and made it very easy for the masses. Bravo !!
What's great about it: I like the transfer of info. from previous year. Plus it seems to cover all the bases
What's not so great: Well there was... no And also... no nothing there either. I can't really think of any negatives

Had to do a program fix and lost everything even past years.
Had to start from square one as if I never did a Turbo Tax before. And I was finished. I was not a happy camper that night. Tonight I'm happy it's over and filed. This is the first year I've had any negative experience with the program.
