Short review

At final review Form 5329-S came up as having an error (I did not fill it in). Had to delete form to proceed.
During e-file had to include employee(???) State & ZIP. (I'm retired) Reluctantly I did - just to get on with this.
For one contribution - I included an overseas address. Program form insisted I include State & ZIP.
What's great about it: generally easy to navigate
What's not so great: RMD portion a bit confusing

Fixed my Return

The program worked great, even when I made a mistake and the IRS rejected my return, Turbo Tax identified my mistake and help me fix it like 1-2-3. I will be using it again next year!!
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: no live online support
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

So Quick, so easy!

This is my 3rd year using TurboTax, and I do not think that I could ever go back to using a pen and paper. My father picked it up originally, and now the whole family stops by the house to run through their taxes in a nice simple manor.
What's great about it: Takes you step by step in layman's terms. No reading confusing tax codes
What's not so great: Sometimes have to seek clarification on some topics

Turbo Tax is the easiest and most accurate tax program out there. Have used them all and honestly, this ones the best, hands down.
What's great about it: Short, sweet, easy to find every form and subject
What's not so great: Wanted to change estimated payments but a little difficult

New print feature is too many steps and frustrating, Liked the old way. Why was this changed?

What's not so great: Changed print feature is not user friendly; want to print all forms without going through all the new steps

It actually makes taxes fun

I really look forward to doing my taxes by myself each year. TurboTax helps me be self-sufficient and not rely on someone else. As each year comes and goes, my taxes get a little more complicated and TurboTax accounts for that, explaining each section in detail.
What's great about it: super easy
What's not so great: no free state file with purchase of turbotax disc
