I have used Turbotax and Quicken products for several years, refinements make it easier each year. Appears to be accurate and understandable, if a term or concept need further explanation help is easy to get by hyperlink or help buttons.
My only complaint would be that when using the guided input method each screen requires you to relocate cursor onto the continue button or back button slowing down input by constantly moving from keypad to mouse. Would recommend to anyone with moderate tax filings, All my family use the product either online or purchase software.
What's great about it: Quick, easy , and accurate
What's not so great: inconsistant location for "continue" and "back" buttons in easyview

I have used TurboTax for 5 years. Trannsferring the information from my previous year's return is automatic. Comparing previous numbers and information is great, and makes sure that all areas are covered.
What's great about it: Have used TurboTax for 5 years - transferring data and info from previous years is terrific!

Easy to use

I did a Roth IRA conversion in 2010. It was a bit confusing for the 2013 tax year and Turbotax included this as income in 2013 ES Tax calculation. I had to manually make changes. typically I find that the estimated tax payment amount is over estimated.
What's great about it: data transfer, download of investment data
What's not so great: Need to manually look to change W-4 for new income situation

Great program once you get over the fear of doing something wrong. Helps you every step of the way and takes you back to any of your mistakes.

Easy Peasy

Great software. Only in the second year of using TurboTax do you really appreciate the effort put into importing the previous year's data so you can compare forms. Helps immensely in finding and correcting errors and keeping yourself honest. Well worth the expenditure. I always buy the download version.
What's great about it: Simple guided pathways through tax forms
What's not so great: Hard to find any.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

My return is pretty easy - so it was a breeze to do it on Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Easy to do
What's not so great: Can't think of any
