A little Confusing compared to Previous Edition

The federal part is excellent. A little confusion which can take a longer time to fulfill is in the State filing part where you are required to provide data from your previous filing.
What's great about it: Simplified
What's not so great: Needs improvement RE:State filing

I have used Turbo Tax evey year for the last 8 years. Turbo Tax is simply an exceptional product.

So far so good

So far so good....we've been using turbotax for years and actually have proven that turbotax's programs were right and IRS was wrong on one occasion. It is irritating to go through the entire mess with medical deductions and other issues and find that we don't meet the minimum. Perhaps there is a better way?
What's great about it: stepwise progression
What's not so great: wade through a bunch of stuff that's not relevant

TurboTax Made It Easier

I've used TurboTax for several years and have always felt good at the end of the process. This year, our return was more complex, and I realized that the Tax Code is hard. TurboTax makes it easier. Even though I sometimes don't know for sure if I'm inputting the right information, I know that TurboTax will put it in the right place. I would really pull my hair out if I tried to do this manually.
What's great about it: Importing info from financial institutions, knowing I'll fill in all the forms needed
What's not so great: Not being able to globally change multi-item entries (e.g., capital gains)
