Great tax program!

I've used Turbo Tax for years. It's always done the job and saved me a lot of headaches!

Saves a lot of time
(unfortunately taxes are very complicated)
What's great about it: Filles out forms and does all the math, AMT calculations, and the like
What's not so great: Some entries forms difficult to determine how they are calculated
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Way easier then the website

I have used Turbo Tax online for YEARS and this was the first time I used the software. SO MUCH EASIER! Not to mention cheaper to do it this way. In my personal case. Anyways, I liked how it still was able to import our return from last year and made it that much quicker. I will be buying the program each year from now on that is for sure!
What's great about it: I didn't have to worry about logging in or having the page time out.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

overall satisfied with use of TurboTax; some small irritations each year; this year you found errors because not entered info from 1099-INT but mutual fund companies are no longer sending that form; previous years it took you 4 years to handle some retirement info correctly on the forms, had to manually enter to correct errors
What's great about it: interview style, easy to go back and update things
What's not so great: not keep up with some changes,

Just finished my taxes and never broke a sweat. I especially like the way items are grouped together. Turbo Tax is so easy to follow all prompts. Thanks for' holding my hand' through what could have potentially been a real nail bitter. It's always clear that if I have certain forms, such as 1099 DIV, then I must input the information found on it. You even lead me through box by box input. Being able to import information from any investment company is so easy and convenient! If the taxpayer has a simple return to file then why not use Turbo Tax? It's EZPZ.
What's great about it: ability to import investment information
What's not so great: charges too much for state tax e-filing

Turbo Tax makes paying taxes a near-pleasureable experience. It's all done in minutes, and the e-filing is just great. I highly recommend the product to anyone who has ever manually slogged their way thru the tax forms we all (used) to endure!
What's great about it: Thinking hardly required

I have used TT for almost 10 years. I tried a competitor once just to see how they compared and they didn't. So back to TT and have not strayed since..
What's great about it: Hard to miss items when you go step by step
What's not so great: Its deductable is awesome but needs tweeking when it comes to entering items not already listed
