Turbo Tax Delux

Great product. very easy to use. Recommended Turbo Tax to my firt time filer daughter and it took her 30 minutes then efiled. She will be a customer for life.
What's great about it: Too easy!!!

Solid Again!

I have foreign sourced income and TurboTax handled the new reporting requirements quite well. On the negative side, my wife and I have set up an Education Plan for our grandson. I had to abandon the interview process and go directly to Forms to bypass the problems I was having entering the expenses we reimbursed. Also, the final instructions did not include any reference to mailing TD F 90-22.1 separately to the the Department of The Treasury in Michigan even though the program correctly had us fill out these forms.
What's great about it: Handles my complex return quite well
What's not so great: Step by Step process awkward at times; final instructions incomplete

It gets the job done

I've only used TurboTax, so I have nothing to compare it to, I find the program is fairly inexpensive, and mostly easy to use.
What's great about it: Fairly fast and simple
What's not so great: tricky for entering income on forms other than W-2's
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

The comprehensive and overall questions makes it easy to cover all possible situations that a tax payer may have. This is an excellent tax preperation program for all tax payers.
What's great about it: Step by Step insturctions
What's not so great: To many extra steps for simple returns
