Long time user

I habe been using TurboTax for 20 years. In an attempt to lead the user through the process it seems to be getting harder and more confusing to use. There should be a user level between being led by the nose and you are on your own.
What's great about it: Gets the job done
What's not so great: Seems to be getting harder to use

Troubled by Interview

There should be a short cut to only use interview for subject that user wants. This program assumes all user are novices and doesn't let you work at your pace or choice of topics.
An interview sheet listing the type of income would shorten the questions to only those subjects.

What's not so great: Hard to use if don't want to answer all questions.

All-inclusive

I have never had any issues with Turbo Tax during all of the years I have used it. To me it is like having my own tax expert. I always feel comfortable when I am finished and have filed my taxes.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax takes you through each and every step so that you can not miss any possible income or deductions.
What's not so great: Could be faster loading.

I am a retired CPA with more than 40 years of tax experience. I have used your programs for the last three years and it accomplishes what I need to accomplish for my purposes.
What's great about it: Good for my purposes
What's not so great: Some trouble with the updates. However, your instructions were able to resolve.
Pros: I moved, I bought or sold investments

Zoom right through IT

I returned to Turbo Tax after not using it for several years. I have more faith in it than in the other approaches I used for determining my tax. Hopefully, I will be happier with the results of this program. I am not a computer expert, senior citizen that I am. In spite of that I found only a few spots where I had to reread and figure out what the program meant. And I feel comfortable now that my taxes will rest happily with the government. Thank you, Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Followed directions easily
What's not so great: Except directions for Print Preview took us around in circles

Superb Software!!

I have used Turbo Tax for the past 4 years and I will no longer go to an accountant. This software is awesome and so easy to use. I will never do it anyother way:)

let us know the minimum needed to take various deductions. Why waste time entering data if it falls thousands short of being able to take a deduction for such things as medical expenses or employee expense?
