Easy refund

Took me several hours to complete but I wanted to recheck several entries. I liked the total refund/tax due total at the top as you progress the return. Been using TurboTax for several years and this year's version was the best.
What's great about it: thorough
What's not so great: got stuck but questions answered quickly

Saved Me Headaches

Turbo tax walked me through my taxes step by step, automaticly completing all worksheets. It also filled in my personal information on all forms, which is a step I absolutly hate to do! I think the program could have saved me time by not taking me back to an overview page after each section of income and donations, but, overall, the program saved me a lot of headaches!
What's great about it: The program had a great guide for clothing and household donations.
What's not so great: I didn't like that the program kept taking me back to an overview page of all income or donations.

AM ALWAYS WISHING THE NEW YEAR IS NOT DIFFERENT. IT TAKES MORE TIME TO BECOME COMFORTABLE WITH THE CHANGES. ONCE I BEGIN USING THE NEW FORMAT THERE IS A LEARNING CURVE AND THEN I CONTINUE ON. I HAVE TOLD SEVERAL CO-WORKERS HOW EASY TURBO TAX IS AND

Ease of use

Some of your terms are not user friendly for the user who has no tax preparation experience. Need for it to relate to an every day user. Give it to some one who has never done their taxes this way and see what they think. I have done testing and created programs and this is what I would do.
What's great about it: The product is great and have used for years. Would not use any other product.
What's not so great: The 2012 Product did leave some question as to what was being asked. I have done tax preperation and was able figure it

Easy Tax Preparation

I've used Turbo Tax for at least 10 years, and the software has been improved each year. With the EasyGuide, it steps you through a simple process which covers most common scenarios. But, there is also a 'track' for more experienced tax preparers and/or TurboTax users. Another huge time-saving benefit is the transfer of information from the prior year's return if you used TurboTax. All charitable organizations, employers, and demographics are pre-populated which makes preparation that much easier.
What's great about it: Steps you through just about all possible scenarios
What's not so great: Sometimes difficult to locate a specific form you want to review or reference

turbo tax for home users

Been using tax prep software at home for years . As the years have gone by my situation has changed as my life has. Harder... that being said, whatever circumstance you have , you should be able to handle it with turbo tax and if you still need assistance you can always call a tax prep or irs and then use turbo tax.
What's great about it: easy

My return was more complex this year with retirement income, rollevers, moving - you name it!
Turbo Tax made it easy to make sure that I entered all of the required information without missing anything.
