Great tax product

loyal turbotax user.
it has the easiest interface ot use by far. you definitely get what you pay for
What's great about it: easy to use, great interface
What's not so great: a little pricey
Pros: I moved, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

easy to use, guides you each step. Certain deductions that are for New Jersey were not understood and when you have multiple w-2's, it is difficult to match the nomenclature
What's great about it: imported last year's data and down loaded stock info.
What's not so great: does not understand NJ box14 info

Many state and local changes need some help and assistance. Everything else is thorough.

The way to go!

Our taxes are not complicated, however there is always something that pops up and TT can help with this. I feel we are getting the best return possible and have not missed a lick.
What's great about it: Easy
What's not so great: Have to look up details occasionally

Difficult to locate and print state tax documents when choosing not to e-file. Could not save documentation of the state return for records. Software continued to default to the federal returns.

great program, saves me hundreds on accountant fees. Able to determine different scenarios that increase and decrease taxes. only down side was generated a worksheet that offered deductions but i did not have all the necessary backup data to properly complete and was unable to undo or find the form to delete it.
What's great about it: idiot proof
What's not so great: couldnt delete form

We have used Turbo Tax for years and will continue to use this product in the future. I always feel confident that the program is as current with the tax laws as is possible and has our best interest as the main goal.
What's great about it: Ease of use
What's not so great: some terminology still a little unclear

2012 Version Better Than Ever!

Missed deductions are a thing of the past with the excellent interview walk thru, a layer of 3 separate internal checks for errors (if not more!), and a double check for the EIC and Homeowner status that are critical to maximizing your tax savings.
The "other guys" have NOTHING near as user friendly or complete.
Turbo Tax has had my business since 1996, and well worth the price each year.
What's great about it: Ease of use, complete step by step interview, multiple printing options
What's not so great: Don't like the additional cost for Home & Business, should be incorporated into the Deluxe version in its entirety.
