I had problems correcting errors discovered in the error check portion of the process. My ability to understand how to access the work sheets when correcting the error caused me some difficulty. Why can't the error be corrected using the form that is displayed?
What's great about it: Ease of using the guide option
What's not so great: Confusion of finding the proper work sheets for a review

found deductions I didn't know I could have!!

I think Turbo Tax is the best way to go. I was able to get the most of my deductions and refund. I have been using it for the past 10 (?) years and never had a problem. Thanks! I definitely recommend to my friends and family!
What's great about it: Extra cash on refund! :)

Had to hunt down the standard meal deductions for home daycare business. Couldn't even find in help menu and I don't feel that I should need the business version of Turbo Tax to file a home daycare business.
What's great about it: Easy to use from year to year
What's not so great: Dropped some items that used to be in past Deluxe versions.

Turbo Tax is very easy to use and walks you through everything to do your taxes. One of best things is that you can save it at any time and go back to complete if you need to make sure of any info.
What's great about it: Always finds most deductions and easy to follow steps
What's not so great: None

Easy as pie

This software is very intuitive and easy to learn to use. I just finished a federal and 2 state tax returns with no trouble, despite knowing nothing about the tax laws in one of states. I recommend it highly, especially for novices.
What's great about it: Easy to learn
What's not so great: Having to connect to internet for almost every question.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Accuracy of calculations and automatically selecting and filling out necessary forms are the most useful features of the program. One drawback is the difficulty in tracing the effect of your entries.
What's great about it: Accuracy o fcalculations
What's not so great: You can't always tell the full effect of an entry in your one step process.
