2012 Tax Preparation Went Well

Despite one or two problems, most would be called operator error, I was pleased to have gotten my taxes done in a timely manner. Capital gains were easy enough to do without the next level of software.
What's great about it: Software seemed to perform better than previous years.
What's not so great: Following instructions to enter alternatives to a date was a problem

Love it! Makes tax filing not so much a chore. Was able to add forms needed. Thanks! I do wish instructions for "not normal" forms was a little more clear. Even IRS instructions were confusing at times.

Why

Would be more helpful if product looked back at the last 4 returns and told me how I filed for education credits. It already imported last year's return. Also the state e-file said I would need to do something else for my PA return but not to worry it will remind me. Well it never did!

State Filing

Besides the exorbitant fee for second state tax return, I wish that when you finish a section of the tax form when you click done with the section it would go back to your next section and not all the way back to the beginning of the choices. Thw way it is now you have to page down until you find where you have to go next.
What's great about it: Easy to follow and use.
What's not so great: Good for only one state without paying an exorbitant fee for state #2.
