I have been using Turbo Tax since it was introduced and never had a problem.
What's great about it: Easy to follow, step by step directions. Saves me money!
What's not so great: Can't blame someone else if it's incorrect

Help with a tricky refund

I have used TurboTax many times and found it to be great. This year I had a very complicated situation and even with that TT helped me out greatly. My NC partial residency taxes did not work in TT, however. Thankfully this is the last year that I will have that situation.
What's great about it: Walked me through all the steps of writing off my move and multiple state returns
What's not so great: NC state was confusing and didn't work

I file my taxes early every year. Why is it that Turbo Tax keeps releasing updates. If the product isn't ready then don't release until it is. Will these update affect my return?
What's great about it: Like getting my refund in less that two weeks.
What's not so great: updates after filing taxes. Parts of program hard to understand.

I've used turbo tax for nearly 2 decades now and have never been disappointed. I recommend this program to all I know that wish to brave the tax waters on their own.
What's great about it: easy, reliable, and accurate
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

As good as the pencil or tax expert

I've used TT for several years. My mom still does hers the old fashion way but has me input it into TT to compare her numbers.
She's accurate but so it the TT!
What's great about it: Takes my input and looks where it can make the most return on my money
What's not so great: The fees for filing on line for state should be banished!

Helpful in that this is the first time I have attempted to do this by myself which was a daunting task. TurboTax made it as painless as possible. I now know a better way to record keep for using this next year.
What's great about it: First time and it was painless/ deductions didn't know I qualified for
