Encountered a problem

It was a shock that I had to enter many forms manually because of the weaknesses in the TurboTax program dealing with retirement accounts, Rollovers and distributions of retirement accounts. Now I will look for a new tax program that can do it. Took a lot of time and still I am not sure it did the job right even though my input was impeccable.
What's great about it: easy to use and "intuit - ive"
What's not so great: unable to download financial data from largest financial institution TIAA-CREF

Easy Return

Turbo Tax is very easy to use and appears to be accurate. My returns are fairly simple so am not a good judge for more detailed returns.
What's great about it: Easy to load and use.
What's not so great: Would like to see a better way to compare with previous year.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

All you need is your paper work in front of you and Turbo Tax next to you on your computer. You feel confident when finished.

Have enjoyed using TurboTax over the years, even now when the returns are getting more difficult. It makes one of those necessary chores a much easier task.
What's great about it: Ability to walk you through all the steps or go to forms
What's not so great: Sometimes difficult to find original data entry

My first Turbo Tax was done on the Comodor 64, back in the 1980's. Every year has been a excellent experience.
I will continue to use it.

Long-time customer

I've used TurboTax to prepare my taxes, those of some relatives and friends for years, and can still remember feeding the forms into the dot matrix printer! Every year, the results are reliable, and the program keeps up with ever-changing tax law quickly and accurately. Even though I am a trained volunteer preparer for a national organization and use different software for that, I still rely on TurboTax to do my own returns.
What's great about it: Combination of step=by-step and forms views; experienced users appreciate the shortcuts.
What's not so great: Now and then it's confusting to move from one place to another.

Print Problems

I even went on line and down loaded the pdf file. Even after rebooting several time, I still could not print a plain copy. Now I can not file my state copy my mail, Which is what I wanted to do. It look like I may have to pay to efile my state.
