Makes filing easy

I am totally intimidated by numbers, but TurboTax has made it possible for me to know what figures to gather throughout the year so I can easily fill out the tax forms and get my return quickly. I so appreciate it.
What's great about it: Takes me through step, by step with added resources to answer any questions.
What's not so great: Don't know how it would work with a more complicated year.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

we have used for the last several years with no issues, for some reason this year the program was having issues changing info, and opening state return form. Had to close out and reopen many times for it to work properly.

Quick and easy...except for bug in system

In the dividends income section, their is a bug in when it keeps asking for Exempt interest dividends and State ID code even when you've already filled it all out. Just a completely unnecessary headache. Otherwise, everything was fine as usual.
What's great about it: Simple and fast way to file returns

Have used Turbo Tax for several years and enjoy the Easy Guide to help in looking for what information is needed.
What's great about it: Loads necessary info from year to year and helps to understand what you are looking for.
What's not so great: When closing a return and going back to it later, it doesn't return to where you stopped the last time.

Better than my Tax Accountant was!

The cost for the software, audit defense, and fee for state efile combined are less than what my tax accountant was charging me. Turbo Tax is very easy to use since you import all of your information from previous year.
What's great about it: Import from Last Year - very easy to update
What's not so great: Can't think of anything

Quick and Painless!

I have been using TurboTax since I started filing taxes at age 16. I love it. It's quick, painless and I trust that it is maximizing my refund. Thankyou!
What's great about it: You virtually need to know nothing about taxes because TurboTax walks you through step by step
What's not so great: Nothing

I'm not sure what happened to Turbo Tax this year. I previously had easy experiences with Turbo Tax, however I wased about 3 hours trying to figure out 2 separate errors keeping me from completing the state returns.
What's great about it: before this year

One Problem

The 1099R from OPM For item 12. State tax withheld contained "NONE" for both entries and no entry for item 13. My return was not accepted until I entered "PA" for all 12 and 13 items. I was unable to enter "NONE" or leave items blank. I hope my returns are processed properly.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Did not accept 1099R as received.
