WILL NEVER USE TURBOTAX AGAIN!

#1 - I never could get line 8b right without inputing my own amounts to come up with correct one.
#2 - TT messed us my printer last year also--as it did this year. Too much of a coincidence to be a coincidence. Bottome of all pages are cut-off.
#3 - when I wanted to print forms and worksheets, MANY DUPLICATES PRINTED. I came out with about 75 pages--many duplicates!!! Waste of ink, paper and TIME.
#4 - Every time I went back to open my tax return to continue working, I had to jump through hoops. Can't you figure out an easy way to re-start where you left off????

What's great about it: I didn't need to fill-in name, address info. Also last year's info was transferred easily.

I love how last year's information is automatically fed into the current year. Easy to use menus walk you through the various entries. I wish the program was more clear on which entries need to be completed.
What's great about it: Walked you through each step
What's not so great: Unsure if I needed to complete some sections

A burden lifted !

I have used Turbo Tax for two years in a row now. Each year flows easier with the ability to compare with previous year. I just wish tax codes would become more simplified.
What's great about it: this year was easier because we were able to compare it with our last year's figures
What's not so great: wish the the tax codes were written easier but Turbo Tax has no control over that
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Took me longer this year to do my taxes for us and also when I did my mother-in-laws also.
What's great about it: Federal Refund
What's not so great: Confusion in the wording from last year

As stated earlier, going thru the ordeal of filing taxesis made very easy with turbo tax. However, even spending a few extra minutes afterward to pay for state e-filing seems like a hardship (bleary eyed infront of a screen).
Make it easy and charge the cost up front. Everyone knows by now its coming. I for one would appreciate less time at the end dealing with it.

What's great about it: "walk thru" is great, very easy to follow!
What's not so great: state e-file expense should be included in purchase price. this would shorten the work thru time.
