Easy to Follow

I managed to confuse the program with home office deduction of Mortgage interest and points. It did not carry over the required information for home interest and points and when I entered it at this level it doubled the points. A bit confusing to fix.
What's great about it: Step by Step guided return
What's not so great: Not all fields carry over to associated forms.

No excuse to put it off!

Turbo Tax makes it so easy to file that I have no excuse to put it off. This is our 4th year using Turbo Tax and we love it. In previous years, we always filed extensions and pulled our hair out. We like the simple directions and reminders along the way. Thank you for making our life easier, Turbo Tax.

Continues to Impress

This product has stood the test of time. We've used it for 6 years and counting. I trust it completely, and would never consider paying hundreds for a CPA to do my taxes. It is easy to use, with the step by step interview questions. And e-filing means I get my refund more quickly.

Simply the Best

I've been using turbotax for 9 years to prepare my taxes. This year someone referred me to a CPA. After letting him review my statement, my refund was going to be LESS than if filed with Turbotax deluxe on top of his higher fee! No thank you! If it ain't broke, don't try to fix it. Thank you Turbotax!

Not what it used to be.

Relatively fast and easy for a simple return.
There used to be a better interface between my previous years of turbo tax. Even though the prior year’s return was brought into this year’s Turbo Tax, I would get questions like “Did you have a carryover from last year?” There were at least a dozen instances where I had to answer prior year questions that should have been known. This was one of the things that created confusion.
Another problem was that it took me back to the beginning every time I reopened the file. Good news is that it didn’t lose the information. But because I was using the easy guide process I had to click through a lot of screens to get back to the place I left off.

Turbo Tax Rocks!

I have been using Turbo Tax for many years and am completely satisfied with it. I am convinced that it has given me the maximum for my refund and even though I have some different tax situations that are not so common. It has helped me as even my positions have changed over the years. It really is helpful.
What's great about it: It is easy, thorough and not too detailed
