easy to use

with several kids in college, it keeps track of all of the laws
What's great about it: it transfers infomation from previous year
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Definitely Rocked by my Refund!

Overall a good experience. I have used Turbo Tax for a number of years for 1040 EZ filings from my children, this is the first time I attempted to use for my personal taxes, as I felt they were way too complicated. This year I thought I'd give it a try and I have to say I am impressed!
What's great about it: Step by step through everything
What's not so great: Time consuming

Easy to follow

I've been using TT for many years, and like the way it walks me through the filing process. This year, I had a problem with finding out what I was eligible to contribute to retirement funds, but finally figured it out.
What's great about it: TT walked me through all the steps needed
What's not so great: It was a little confusing around IRA/SEP/SIMPLE issues

Time Saving Experience

I have used Turbo tax for years and will continue to do so. I like that it summarizes the inputs into questions that I can easily understand. It also has helpful information that opens in other screens so that my work is not disturbed. This is the first year out of many that I had an issue. I was not able to submit information from a 1098 because it did not fit in a certain category and no other question led me a place to input the transaction. This was the first and only time I have had a problem. Every other year has been spot on.
What's great about it: I was able to finish preparing and filing my taxes in one sitting.
What's not so great: I was not able to take a deduction because none of the questions asked for or lead me to it.

Tax assistance for the (un)talented

Took less time than I thought it would. Focused on helping with no words that had to be looked up in a dictionary. Again, very easy & quick. Have used this product for a few years now & would not use anything else.
What's great about it: Quick & easy to use.
What's not so great: None
