Many Years of Use

Only having to enter information once and then having it used by any applicable item without reentry is best feature.
What's great about it: Saves figuring on many pieces of paper and then recopying
What's not so great: Cost

I've used Turbo Tax for 14 years with the same ease of filing and comfort knowing all questions were asked, forms were completed and all checks were made. I enjoy the previous year transfer of info to compare as I go. Filing electronically and direct deposit are a cinch. This couldn't be easier!
What's great about it: Questions walk you through, previous filings transfer, ease to file
What's not so great: Some forms offline to printer, print off page. Not a biggie.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Very easy and understandable - my 5th year of using the program. Why not a frequent user discount ???

I have used Turbo tax for my returns and my familes returns for the last several years. I love the software, importing last years information, downloading payroll info.
What's great about it: ease of use, interviews keep me from screwing up, keeping last years base line and accounts is great
What's not so great: none

My tax returns have simplified over the last years and it no longer made any sense to pay for a CPA to handle my taxes. For the simple to moderate filers I found this great. Takes a bit of faith in the comlpleteness of the program but I am becoming a believer. I would consider this even if my filings were less than simple.
What's great about it: Much less expensive than my previous CPA.
What's not so great: Need to have all yor records in order.

You Saved me from harm!! Making a big error!

I have used TurboTax for many years now and don't buy anything else. Did one year and it was horrible. It is so
convenient to have both the Federal and State forms together.
The one time I used the other software, I had to go out and get my own state program to finish. No transfers of my already posted information, as well. This year you saved me from making a huge mistake with the checking system.
