2012 Tax Preparation

Overall a great tool for tax preparation. Unfortunately it doesn't cover all options for taxes paid (past years audited by IRS).
What's great about it: Good guidance, clear instructions
What's not so great: Doesn't allow for "unusual" situations
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Have used turbo tax for many years. it has always been the easiest to use and always gets me the refund that I have coming.

Simplified and wonderful tool

This program has a very easy process to follow and is instrumental in allowing you to gather all the necessary documentation and obtain the most accurate tax submission. Whether you find out you get a refund or owe taxes you can trust it will be accurate and complete.

Quick, I could do it at home at my leisure versus making an appointment and a person continually asking questions!! This is our second year using Turbo Tax and we really have been happy both years!
What's great about it: Very easy to use!
What's not so great: Could not find the tax id for 2 of my deductions that were repeat.

Found all available deductions. Great time saver! Turbo Tax literaly does all of the work for you.

I found TurboTax to be very user friendly and easy to use. i am confident all deductions I am eligible for have been applied. TurboTax gives you the option to walk through all deductions even if you are not eligible, just to make sure.
What's great about it: Quick and easy. TurboTax walks you through every deduction and credit.
What's not so great: None

Takes the stress out of doing taxes

TurboTax gets easier to use every year. But, this year we could not connect to buy an additional (second) state return and we could not connect to pay to file the free (first) state return. Oddly enough, connecting to submit this review was easy! Something's wrong there. It's also bad process to NOT have someone available to call on weekends. Still, even though this year we had to print and mail our returns--and even fill out the second state by hand--it was easier than doing it all by hand!
What's great about it: Very easy to use
What's not so great: Call center not open on weekends
