Whew! Done!

TurboTax walks you through everything you can think of. Lots of "links" to answer questions. You need to have your paperwork organized but then it is easy. Glad I'm done!
What's great about it: Walks you through everything.
What's not so great: Cost for e-filing state return.

got a refund with turbo

Let,s you know if the long form is right for you. It has all the right forms there for you. If you need a 1099-DIV instead of a 1099-INT you have it! and are not in a panic at the last minute as to where to find the right form to fill out. It also takess the guess work out of charitable dollar amounts of goods to places like Goodwill and DAV. Thanks TurboTax.
What's great about it: didn't have to think, it asked the questions

i LOVE USING TURBO TAX AS IT COVERS EVERYTHING (SOMETIMES TOO MUCH) AND ASSURES ME THAT I AM NOT SKIPPING ANY CATEGORY. IT IS SIMPLE TO PROCESS, CORRECTS ERRORS WITH YOU, AND SUBMITTING IS JUST A FEW CLICK.
What's great about it: EASY TO USE, INFORMS ON STUFF YOU MAY FORGET
What's not so great: SOMETIME YOU WANT A BUTTON TO SAY "SIMPLIFY ME" BECAUSE YOU ONLY HAVE REGULAR STUFF

I would like to be able to see the actual returns before they are efiled. I made a typo on one of the income items and this was corrected during one of the reviews, but I could not actually see and confirm the correction until after the returns were efiled,.
What's great about it: Easy to use and accurate

I had a unique (for me) tax situation this year and the last. By following the Turbo_Tax guidelines large errors were made on my return last year triggering an audit. This year I was able to "finesse" my way through the situation, but Turbo-Tax kept giving me "error" statements. I went through it five times but finally gave up and printed the return. I guess we'll see.
What's great about it: Reviews many areas of income and deductions
What's not so great: Inflexible.
