Easy to use, gives quick and complete results, and e-filing is simple and results in timely refund (if you're lucky enough to get one!)

I have used Turbo Tax for several years and have always been pleased. It walks through everything you need to do and does it so the inexperienced and understand what to do.
What's great about it: Held my hand all the way through

I actually went away from Turbo Tax this year because a competitor was cheaper. The competitors software could not import my W-2 and it was very confusing due to new HSA entries. Due to that, I abandoned it and came back to my long-standing partner Turbo Tax.
It turned out, the HSA stuff in Turbo Tax was also a little tricky due to the 'month selection' for prorations. I read it incorrectly the first time thru and when Turbo Tax said I was going to be taxed on excess contributions I decided to do some external reading. Turned out that I had to select the months since I had been in all year when it sounded like I should only select them if I made extra contributions during those months. Very confusing wording, but I finally figured the system out.
In the long run, the other software was correct as well, but I just didn't trust it like I did Turbo Tax. Had I never used Turbo Tax I likely would have never gone back to it and saved the money. Lower the cost across the board on all the versions by $10 and I would have never even thought about trying another brand. Turbo Tax has not increased in price, but with so many other options they need to seriously think about reducing it.
What's great about it: Quick and easy flow. Good help, both built in and online.
What's not so great: Competitors are cheap enough that I tried one.

Feel Confident

I have used turbotax for several years now. When my income & sources changed notably (I retired), I was not at all sure I could keep using it with confidence, but went ahead and purchased a copy. I found it addressed all my questions about the changes in income and sources and so filed it. I was audited and had no difficulty whatsoever. I'm very happy with this product!
What's great about it: Ease in entering information; accuracy & completeness

Turbo Tax is so Easy !

My 13th year using Turbo Tax and I love it! I would highly recommend it to everyone. I started using Turbo Tax after I've had 2 different tax preparers make mistakes that I actually caught.
What's great about it: quick, easy, convenient
