I have used turbo tax for 10 years. It is easy to use. It walks you through every step and helps to analyze the correctness of the return. I will continue to use for many years to come.

I have been using Turbo Tax for at least 15 years and wouldn't think of doing my taxes any other way. I can sit down with all my paperwork, get walked through the questions, and within an 1 or so can have my return complete! I have complicated tax issues to address such as business income/expenses, itemized deductions, etc. Loyal customer who won't leave any time soon! Keep up the good work!

Falling off a log.....

I have used TurboTax in preparing my taxes since 1995. I became an independent businessman at that time and needed help in preparing my tax return. I chose TurboTax because of the explanations attendant to the software. This helped me in preparing as well as understanding the tax return/code. Three years ago my daughter and her husband moved to another country for his work. I expected to have considerable difficulty in preparing their tax return because of that. The surprise was....not difficult at all, actually pretty easy. I choose not to tell those members of my family how easy TurboTax makes filing individual returns. I maintain a high level of respect from family members because everyone thinks this is difficult, time consuming and boring. Please don't tell anyone how easy this is......I'm enjoying my "tax expert" persona.
What's great about it: Everything.....easy guides, clear questions, detailed reviews.
What's not so great: Couldn't think of anything....sorry!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Quick and Easy Taxes

I have been using this product for at least 10 years, and have always had a good experience. This was the first year I had to call the help line (my own problem, not Turbo Tax's), and was pleased to get a nice, informative person that was easy to understand.

It seems that it keeps getting easier and easier to do my taxes with Turbotax and for this I'm very grateful. I like how the program guides you through each section with explicit questions and makes sure the numbers agree and add up.
I wish there were more instructions on how to enter retirement fund donations such as 403(b), etc. I always feel like I'm missing more guidance in this area.
What's great about it: detailed questions
What's not so great: retirement recording confusing
