Love this Software

I've been paying an arm and leg for an accountant for years. For 1/3 of the cost I've done it by myself. I will be using this for years to come.
What's great about it: Easy to Use, Live Chat was perfect, Online Community awesome
What's not so great: Small Bug with 1099-DIV but online community helped me

Turbo Tax continues to perform

Have used Turbo Tax for the past 7 years, I was expecting continued, good solid performance from the program and was not disappointed. This year, the program prompted for Local sales tax information without my searching, which it did not do last term. I did still have to search for where to enter my small hobby income, but was directed to the correct place quickly by the Search function.
The ability to track my return via email, SMS, and app is a nice feature.
What's great about it: easy to follow directions, straightforward program
What's not so great: Entry of hobby income still a _bit_ hard to find

Granted this is not convenient like a tax accountant, but worth my time in savings. Not to mention - I have a better understanding of just how complicated tax laws are. The IRS needs an overhaul!
What's great about it: Intuitive, asked the right questions

Using Turbo Tax

I have been using Turbo Tax for yrs every yr it gets better it is great using it it brings forwrd all my information from last yrs filing making this yrs easier. They do the leg work and reference material is superb. I feel confident in using it to maximize my return.
What's great about it: simple, quick, complete
What's not so great: can't think of any

2012 Turbo Tax

Very easy to use and friendly. We have been using Turbo Tax since 2004 and the results have been always positive. E-Filing is very convenient and FAST. Like everything the cost for not complicated filer could be a little more attactive. Thank You
