I have used TurboTax for 10-12 years now and it is a quick and easy system to use for taxes. It provides a lot of details and quick links to research information. I am able to complete my return, my boyfriends, my parents and my brother's returns. I like most of the system, some things are a little cumbersome, but all in all a swift, quick, easy to use system. I have an extensive tax background, so navigating the system is simple. The one issue I experience each year is trying to process returns for folks who live in MA and work in CT, the system has an all or nothing option for reporting income to MA, it either is identified as MA or it is all inclusive. Since all employers report the total amount of salaries to both states, it either doubles or only picks up MA income, which then allows for other income from state and federal agencies not to be included. Leaves too much room for error and requires manual override.
What's great about it: Extensive abilities, quick, interview is detailed but allows for bypass for quick entry, detailed research information
What's not so great: Multi-State with MA & CT continues to have some issues.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Great Program!

I used to pay hundreds of dollars for an accountant to do my taxes. Just for fun a few years back I had him do our taxes then I bought Turbo Tax. With his help I owed money and was audited 5 times. With Turbo Tax I have been able to save money and get the most out of my taxes. They ask questions that broke down my return while he "assumed" he knew the answer. Guess what...he didn't. I look forward to being a happy Turbo Taxer for a long time!
What's great about it: Beat my accountant! He needs a job now!
What's not so great: Accountant out of work

I have used TurboTax for many years and I have not been disappointed so far. I have also recommended TurboTax to friends, family and co-workers. I find it easy to use and the fact that I can consult with specialist and the program also let's me know when to backup my forms. I only wish I could afford to get a new computer to accent what TurboTax has to offer.
What's great about it: Easy to use and has clear concise instructions
What's not so great: Language can be a little simplier

I have been using Turbo Tax for over 15 years now and I will not change it for anything!
What's great about it: Super easy to use
What's not so great: Some options do not pertain to the normal person...but guess you have to cover all bases.
