Program would not accept application of refund to next year's tax bill.
The only options were:
Direct Deposit or
Mail a Check.

Once again, it was a breeze to file with TT. After compilation, data entry was very simple, and straightforward.
One thing that would help, are blank worksheets ti prepare prior to using SW.
Overall, it was a pleasant day's exercise, if filing taxes could ever be pleasant.

It gets easier every year

This is my 3rd year of using Turbo Tax and previously did the Federal return by hand. Since you can import the previous year's information it saves you time entering common data. It also provides a comparison of prior year entries which makes it easy to see what you did before. It gets easier each year.
The software is very thorough and helps remind you of other areas you might have missed. You don't have to be an expert on tax forms since it will automatically use the ones you need. I especially like the charity deduction help with non-cash item values. It also provides you with the worksheets the software automatically filled out to do calculations, such as social security benefits.
E-Filing is very easy and I haven't had any issues getting my refund with direct deposit.
I would highly recommend using the Turbo Tax software.
What's great about it: Easy Guides were very helpful and detailed. Importing from previous Turbo Tax year saved time entering data.
What's not so great: None that I have encountered

Final steps are poorly done

The final steps of turbo tax must be rewritten to make it easier to either efile, mail or a combination. I efile my federal and mail my state and city. Also, the process should not print city with state, but keep the print out separate. When you look at the forms needed to file with your federal form needs to be evaluated. If you print before efiling you get a different set of forms than if you wait until after you efile. this is confusing and ultimately wastes paper! And why did it print my city forms with my federal voucher after I efiled my federal form? This has been a consistent problem with turbotax, year after year.
What's not so great: I enjoy turbotax except the final steps where the return can be printed and filed.

Doing my taxes in my robe!

Turbo tax works for you year round.... next year, all the time consuming work (name, where you work, even your bank information is transfered from last years taxes.....makes tax time less painful...been using Turbo Tax for years...been soooooo happy
What's great about it: Quick...just pug in the numbers.....qustions answered with just a quick...store all your donations all year round , love
What's not so great: I have to wait for it to load.....
