TurboTax - Defender of the confused and befuddled!

I have used TurboTax for over 10 years for individual returns, Business -Schedule C and Corporate Business returns. In all cases, the program has taken me through preparing the returns step by step, asking appropriate questions, and generated all the necessary filing forms required. It made the daunting task of completing both federal and state tax returns easy, simple, and doable on my own. Without this program, I would have paid several hundred dollars to a tax accountant. Who has the time to study and understand all the various tax codes and changes every year.......TurboTax does!
What's great about it: TurboTax makes preparing your own return simple by going through all the various income and deductions.
What's not so great: Some of the screens at the end for additional services are a little annoying.

Deduction wizard is a nice feature. Only question I had on a deduction, I found the answer in the Help section. Will continue to use product.

I like the year to year transfer, it makes taxes painless and quick. I also like the free state return which makes my state taxes take only minutes to complete.
What's great about it: Free state return,
What's not so great: Nothing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Streamlines the Tax Preparation Process!

Turbo tax is a great tool for doing taxes. I particularly like how all the entry boxes match number for number the official tax form boxes. I've used other software that wasn't set up this way, and this really helps check the number entry process! Having all the forms available in one place makes the entire tax preparation process quick and easy.
What's great about it: Alignment between entry boxes and tax form boxes
