Easy and simple to use

The carryover from previous years makes it easy to flow into the current year. The step by step is easy to follow the entire procedure. The efile is of great assistance.

TurboTax makes taxes easier year after year!

I've been using TurboTax for my taxes since 1985. I wouldn't trust my taxes to anyone else other than my daughter who's a CPA. She endorses your product as well. She has said on more than one occasion it's easier to review a person's taxes when they are completed using TurboTax because the information is organized and easy to find.
What's great about it: Easy to use and understand, consistent experience every time I have used this product.

My only point of frustration was when a schedule C populated from my husband's business, even though I said I was filing separately. There is no N/A button allowing me to remove the schedule C when I am not an owner in the business. I had to contact support to determine whether it needed to be completed or if/how to remove it.
What's great about it: Quick and Easy
What's not so great: Schedule C populated even when not needed.

Overall is a good program with reasonable price. Easy to use and follow during the process.

What's not so great: generate unneed forms and hard to delete these unneeded forms

I develop and test real-time software for large turnkey systems. Turbo Tax always impresses me with its professional look, lack of bugs, well designed and highly interactive interface, ease of use, and ability to navigate the user back and forth through the preparation process. Definitely the 'mil-grade' of tax preparation software packages. As to my two grown children, they know nothing about Turbo Tax except it's what Dad uses to do their taxes every year.
What's great about it: Clean look, interactive prompts, ability to step back anywhere in process
