Easy-peezy

Overall, I think that Turbo Tax is a great way to file and to keep track of our information from year to year. Such as IRA basis information and carryforwards which are often difficult to find when the time comes to using them. Also, "Its Deductible" is a wonderful feature for calculating and keeping track of non-cash charitable contribtutions throughout the year. However, I liked the older version where you could see where items would show up on the forms as you proceeded through the interview. This option may still be there in this newer version but I did not find it.
What's great about it: Effortless and a great way to keep track of prior years' information.
What's not so great: Difficult to change information from the form itself.

YOU MADE IT SO EASY!!!

had a problem as the program walks you through everything. I was concerned one year because we received
a gas well lease and a small monthly check that I was sure
I would have to have done by a tax preparer. Well I gave
it a run through TurboTax and the program guided me
all the way and made it easy.

Easy to use, awesome product

I purchased TurboTax Deluxe to complete my taxes. This product is easy to use and takes you step by step through everything that you need to know. I wouldn't use any other product. Everything you need is included with product.
What's great about it: Easy to use, greate price
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

Turbo Tax is great. It walks you through all the details often finding hidden deductions or tax credits.

I like the somewhat exhaustive nature of each of the income and deduction steps, but they can sometimes seem a little drawn out. My suggestion would be to put all the 1099 steps into one. I got a little screwed up when I tried to put my 1099-G, 1099-MISC, and 1099 -DIV in the same section not knowing that each would be addressed later on. Have a W-2 section and a 1099 section would be my one suggestion.
What's great about it: Easy to Follow the Steps
What's not so great: Steps could be truncated more for people that have an intermediate knowledge

Solid Program

Long time user of Turbo Tax, which is why I miss the 1 free state e-file.
13yr tax preparer and 6yr state tax review.
Program is solid, not always for beginners, unless they contact support.
What's great about it: Deluxe has everything I need
What's not so great: Charge for State E-file
