What's great about it: Easy to navigate through the tax return
What's not so great: Having to scroll all the way to the bottom of the section for income and deductions when many did not apply.

Clear Taxes back and sadly what has to be paid

Overall, I like turbo tax and have used it since I started filing my taxes many years ago. It is easy and I have seen over the years where it has gotten easier. I am new to owning a home and so there are new things that I have to look into. It is great to have the support online with the chat or being able to call. I look forward to next year and what new advanced ease you will have found.
What's great about it: that it was clear what was owed and was the return was
What's not so great: getting confused on where things go and having to go through different sections

There is no question that Turbo Tax is appropriate for 99% of the people who file. If you can read and follow instructions , you can complete your return in a very short time.
The key is to have all your documents and backup ready before you sit down.
Turbo tax eliminates the need to re-enter information year to year.
I also like that it gives you year over year comparisons.

I wish you made it easier to enter a nondeductable IRA contribution that is immediately converted to a ROTH IRA easier. Last year I could override the 8606 form, and this year I cannot. If the step-by-step was easier, then I wouldn't have to try to override. I ended up using the step by step, but it is not at all straight forward. Please improve this!
What's great about it: Importing from my financial institutions is very good.
What's not so great: nondeductable ira contribution with immediate conversion to a Roth is HARD!
