Turbo Tax makes tax preparation easy for anyone, regardless of your financial situation. The built in tools and guides direct you to maximize your refund and ensure you don't miss a deduction. Turbo Tax also helps you understand the complex tax law with helpful common questions and answers built right in plus IRS tax guides to answer any difficult issue. And importing Turbo Tax data from the previous year, plus financial information from bank and employer websites simplifies the process. A great product!

The software package is very user friendly. The only downside I had was when trying to complete my Kansas return myself, I couldn't find the federal deduction detail that I needed, so I ended up paying Turbo Tax to complete my Kansas return as well. Not real excited about that aspect.
What's great about it: Very user friendly
What's not so great: Could not find specific federal detail in order to fill out my Kansas return on my own.

Boosting My Tax Refund 2012

This year 2012 Tax Return was very easy and fun to file. No issues at all.
What's great about it: Walk you all the way during the filing process
What's not so great: None !!! My internet speed not fast enough. Federal and State tax accepted within seconds !!!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Been using this for years. Wouldn't use anything else. I appreciate the thorough walk through all the facets of this complicated mathematical formula, although sometimes I feel I am missing the rationale.
