2012 Deluxe Edition

The rental income expense section does not specify whether the dollar amounts I enter into the Expenses when the rental property is only rented out for part of the year.
What's great about it: Walks you through the various types of income and deductions.
What's not so great: Had I know that the Premium version was better suited for my needs, I would have purchased that not the deluxe version.

I have been using TurboTax for over 5 years. They make it easy to fill a return and receive your money in as little as a week. Thanks TurboTax.
What's great about it: Questions about income and deductions are easy to read and understand
What's not so great: Long initial loading time from disc

Feel good by doing it yourself

I was used to get a tax professional to do my taxes and read the first page, summary sheet thinking the preparer wrote that for me. now I see a large red TurboTax emblem there. Now I know what was going on(!).
It is a good feeling to do it yourself and be confidant.

As long as Turbo tax is for sale I will always be a buyer. Can't beat the product for ease of use, cost, and comprehensive walkthroughs.

Easy, but still not confidence inspiring

TurboTax has smoothed its corners over the years. But it STILL marks boxes without asking...like...whether I want my state's printed instruction booklet mailed to me next year. It always checks "no" without giving me the opportunity to say yes! Also, it seems to randomly itemize or take the standard deduction on our state return. I would like for TurboTax to tell me what it's doing, just like on the federal return.
What's great about it: 1) Step-by-step instructions 2) Doesn't go to some weird screen if you accidentally hit a wrong key
What's not so great: Still a problem this year...TurboTax DOES NOT restart itself after updating. You have to manually re-start after updates

Best Turbotax ever!

This was without a doubt the best Turbotax program I've used to date. It was easy to use, smooth in it's asking for information, and the e-file was simple and fast.
What's great about it: Ease of use.
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Great Program

Overall, it is a fantastic program. I have used it three years running now, and I have no intention of doing it any differently in the years to come. As an independent sales representative, the Audit Review is fantastic. It is very important for me to be accurate and thorough, and TurboTax ensures that I am and highlights any discrepancies that could trigger an audit.The program also explains anything you may not understand, and gives tips and advice to keep things simple and organized throughout the year. This has taken my filing time down from about 5-6 hours to less than two. Again, great program that I will continue to use.
What's great about it: Easy to Use, Accurate, Audit Check
What's not so great: Confusing at some points

Tax Stress Reliever

It's refreshing to know that I will be prompted/reminded of pertenant data I may not be aware of in the tax codes that will save me money. It is also great to not have to chase down required tax forms. It's great to be able to E-File returns and keep track of my return status. It is exciting to watch the counters at the top of the screen and keep track of how your potential tax refund is progressing. I really enjoy the freedom of workiing on my taxes, saving my files and returning to work on them again at my own chosen time! In general, TurboTax gives me peace of mind that I can accomplish the most unpleasant task of filing income taxes yearly. THANKS!!!!!!!
What's great about it: Tax forms are selected and provided without stress! User is forewarned of information needed to complete each section..
What's not so great: I miss the old tax instruction booklets to put my snacks on!
