In the unemployment section it was hard to tell where to put the amount that was paid in. I think it would have been much more helpful if the boxes were outlined in black. It would be nice when they review the information & we need to input the information if you would tell us where to find the answers. Sometimes when the Federal answers transfer to the state taxes they do not transfer all of the correct information if you enter more than one W2 etc.
What's great about it: I love the overview sections.
What's not so great: I didnt like all of the boxes were not easy to see that info needed to be typed in.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

This program is so simple to use. It walks you through everything step by step. I have used Tubo Tax for many years and will continue to use it. I will continue to recomend it to everyone I know.
What's great about it: SIMPLE STEP BY STEP PROCESS TO FILE RETURN.
What's not so great: CORRECTING PROBLEMS DURING THE REVIEW PROCESS IS NOT EXPLAINED WELL ENOUGH.

The Auto-fill Feature is a Time & Money Saver

Turbo Tax remembers and fills in relevant carry-over information from your past years. This saves money, because you would never remember many of the details.
Turbo Tax fills in your and your spouse's information on all returns. It remembers your bank routing and account numbers for direct deposit of refund.
Turbo Tax helps to file ammended returns several years later, when required.
Turbo Tax fills out work sheets for Federal and State returns, you do not have to use your calculator to follow the legal instructions and look up tax tables.
Turbo Tax works out the value of Charitable Donations in kind.
Turbo Tax does State Taxes.
I have always bought a CD, because I worried I would not be able to manouver On_line returns.

Got through it!

Just found out that turbo tax does not input W2 box 14 "other" items. Now I have to go back and ammend the last 4 years of taxes due to a major deduction being missed (union dues)! Bummer...
What's great about it: step by step for dummies
What's not so great: program does not input W2 box 14 "other" items.

right kind of refund

overall turbo tax is easy to use and accurate, and I like how it walk you through each section. I also like how it will let you double check for errors and tell you which errors need to be fixed and provides explanations of the errors. I also like how each section provides explanations and suggestions if you need it. I would recommend turbo tax to anyone who needs t file a return its easy and to use and you can be confident in the product your using.
What's great about it: easy to use and understand
What's not so great: sometimes mking deduction changes were harder @ times

The software is very easy to use and makes me feel assured that my taxes are prepared correctly. The fact that it walks you through each area and asks lots of questions to make sure you are entering everything you need to help maximize refunds.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Too many advertisments for other products
