2012 Turbo Tax

Going though the Federal return was a breeze, especially if you use the step by step approach.
The AZ State return was less satisfactory. It seemed accurate, but the process was sometimes obscure and I was continually uncertain about whether I was proceeding correctly. The program is not as transparent as the Federal return. The Working Poor credit was particularly confusing....it was better dealt with last year.
The transfer process for carry over credits did not exist in the AZ State return. I had to ferret them out by hand, although the worksheets (2011, e.g.) were there.
What's great about it: Federal Return easy, clear and well done.
What's not so great: AZ State return deserves a C+ at best.

i have been using this for quite a few years now. After comparing to a CPA, the amount of the return was the same. Cannot be beat!!!
What's great about it: Easy to use, gives all the deductions, you cannot mess up
What's not so great: NONE
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

This is the only tax software I will ever use. I tried H & R Block and it was awful. Tried an online tax program, it was awful. TurboTax is the only program for me.

I've used TurboTax for years and have always had accurate and thorough walk-throughs, guiding me where needed and letting me 'zip' through the forms and deductions that I was familiar with. Great Value!! Thanks ... see you next year!
