TurboTax Pros and Cons

Content seems complete and clear; and you stand by your accuracy. You indicated that my 24 yr old student son could be taken as an exemption, but the literature seems to suggest otherwise. I hope you are correct.
I tried to start my return online, having been using the downloaded version in past years. But I found that the instructions directing me how to upload my prior year's tax files to your website from my computer, did not match the website appearance/menu positions, etc. I wasn't able to figure out how to do it, so I downloaded again.

Aside from these small quibbles, I find the program immensely helpful and time-saving, and it appears that you have kept prices under control.
What's great about it: both succinct and complete
What's not so great: Forms of delivery confusing

Easier than ever!

Very easy to use even for an amateur.. Walks you through very step of income and deductions with explanations. Easy to understand and links for more information if needed.
What's great about it: Easy to use. Walks you through every step of the way.Plain English too!

Refund Made Easier

I've used Turbo Tax for several years now. I check out the competition annually and Turbo Tax always wins in any comparison. It's fast and easy to use, and offers easy to read explanations to complex questions.
What's great about it: The step by step process. It offerred lots of information to answer any questions that I may have had.
What's not so great: It took a couple of tries before I got the hang of back tracking to the form for edits after an area is passed.

I like Turbo Tax. I always buy the software rather than do online for the free tax sites. I just like having it on my computer for review or whatever.
I trust the figures that Turbo Tax arrives at. I also like you can review on your own to see what forms are completed.
What's great about it: It's easy to cross-reference or find answers to questions.
What's not so great: Turbo Tax used to have a section at the end on next year and tips.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and have never had a problem. The software is easy to understand and use and I feel comfortable that I have filed correctly.

knocked out my taxes in 20 minutes

I love turbo tax, I couldnt do taxes without it. Seriously. The only thing I didnt like were that some questions led me to believe I wouldnt be taxed for certain things but I totally was.
What's great about it: Very quick and easy
What's not so great: TT kept giving me false hopes
